It is with great sorrow the family announces the unexpected death of Thomas at his residence on September 6, 2014 at the age of 64. Thomas was the beloved husband and best friend to Fatima (nee Mustafa). Thomas is survived by his brothers Robert (Maxine), John (Linda), Doug, Peter and his sisters Betty, Kathy, Nancy and Judy (Jim). Thomas was predeceased by his father Ivan Thomas Barrett, his mother June (nee Hay) and his brothers Charles and James (Karen). In keeping with Thomas’s wishes cremation has occurred. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Whispering Pines Funeral Home. If desired donations to the Heart and Stroke association would be greatly acknowledged by his family.
