It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Helen surrounded by her family on November 1, 2015 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre at the age of 76 years two days short of her 77th birthday. Predeceased by her Husband “Turk” Turgeon. Beloved mother of Jean Guy Turgeon of Callander, loving sister of Marilyn Smith of Pennsylvania, Jim Cousineau (Sue) of Mississauga, and Bob Cousineau (Lori) of South River. Helen was predeceased by her parents Lorne and Iva Cousineau, her sisters Eileen Turgeon(Reg deceased) and Lorna Jamieson ( Jim surviving). Helen was the current secretary at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 445, past secretary of the Ladies Auxiliary Branch 445, and the past secretary of the Over 50 Club. Helen was known in the community for being an avid dart player, and she had a passion for knitting and crocheting. In keeping with Helen’s wishes cremation has taken place at Whispering Pines Funeral Home’s Crematorium with a private family gathering.
