Passed away peacefully with his wife at his side at Eastholme Home for the Aged on November 30, 2015 at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of Maria (nee Schabtsberger). Loving father of Gisele Kraus and Christine Kraus. Cherished grandpa of Brandon, Kurt and Erika. Eric will be sadly missed by his brother; Ewald and sister; Erne. Predeceased by his parents. Eric was born in Austria and immigrated to Canada where he met the love of his life Maria.  He was a well known Realtor and broker in the Toronto area for many years. Eric and Maria moved to Trout Creek where he continued to sell real estate until his retirement. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place at Whispering Pines Funeral Homes Crematorium.
