I didn't realize that these condolences were on here until now. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. It was good to have you and Sean up this summer to visit with Bob; he really appreciated it, and talked of it long after. You and your family meant a lot to him over the years, and to myself as well, because he thought so highly of you. Thanks for being such a good friend to him, Merritt. Sorry - I accidentally did something with original posting so I don't know if I sent it. This may end up being a duplicate but I had to make sure you heard from us today
We are so sorry for your loss today. I feel very fortunate that we were able to spend time with Bob and Chris this summer. Bob was very kind and welcoming and we were made to feel like family right away.
We love Stephanie and I have always been so happy that my little brother found such a great partner and that her family has been so supportive of him - a comfort even though they are so far away!
Stephanie is such a gem and after meeting Chris and Bob we realized this is because her parents are so terrific. We haven't been able to spend as much time with Alyssa but I understand she is of the same 'Ever's stock'.
It is always so hard to loose those people who you love dearly and have such a love of life. Bob was one of those special people. I wish for peace and comfort for all of you during this tough time. All our love
