Peacefully passed away at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on December 24th 2014 at the age of 50 years. Jacques is survived by his mother Odile (nee Lavallee), his brothers Raymond and Gilles Laurin and his sisters Helen Upfold (George) and Mona Cyr (Mark). Jacques was a long term resident in the Municipality of Powassan and was always known to be very helpful around the community. He enjoyed the Powassan Drop in Center. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him especially his extended family in Powassan. Cremation has occurred at Lakeview Crematorium. The family will receive visitors at the Whispering Pines Funeral Home (15 King Street Powassan Ontario) on Friday January 2, 2014 from 10am until the time of Jacques memorial service to celebrate his life at 11 am in the Whispering Pines Chapel.
